SGA Opt Out Instructions

SGA Fees

  • $7.00 Sticker Fee
  • $2.00 Student Representation Fee

SGA Fees are charged via an opt out process. Students who do not opt out of either or both of the SGA Fees before registering for classes will be automatically charged the fees. 

You may decline SGA fees by doing the following in your Self-Service account.

  1. Log in to your MSJC Self-Service Account
  2. Under the User Options menu on the left column, click on Required Agreements.
  3. Click on the View link for the Student Rep Fee/Student Gvernment Association Fee agreement.
  4. Select Decline

If you would like to add or request a refund for either or both fees, requests for refunds are only accepted within the first two weeks of the semester. If you opted out of either or both fees and would like them added, this can be done at any time during the semester. All refund requests must be filed with the Student Life & Development Program Office.

Once your SGA sticker is adhered to your student ID, you cannot obtain a refund for the SGA Fee. The SGA sticker must be returned to the Student Life & Devlopment Program Office at time of SGA Fee refund request submission.
