Financial Literacy
The Financial Aid Office is committed to empowering students to make financially informed
decisions towards attaining their educational goals and establishing financial wellness.
Financial literacy refers to one's ability to understand and responsibly manage their
finances, enabling them to build a stable foundation for their future. Developing
financial literacy to improve your personal finances involves learning and practicing
a variety of skills related to budgeting, managing debt, understanding credit, and
banking products. Our financial aid office has developed a series of programming highlighting
the fundamentals of financial literacy to help students further their understanding
of and achieve financial success.
Banking fundamentals aims to introduce the basics of banking. In this workshop, you
will learn about different types of banking products, how to manage cash flow and
savings, how to help protect your money, and planning for short-and-long-term goals.
