Current Bid Threshold
Pursuant to Public Contract code (PCC) Section 20651(d), the Board of Governors is required to annually adjust the $50,000 amount specified in Section 20651(a), by the change in the annual average value of the Implicit Price Deflator for the prior fiscal year rounded to the nearest one hundred collars The Board of Governors has delegated this responsibility (through Standing Orders) to the Chancellor.
The bid threshold limit as of January 1, 2025, is $114,800.
This includes:
- Purchase of equipment, materials, or supplies to be furnished, sold, or leased to the school district.
- Services that are not construction services.
- Repairs, including maintenance as defined in PCC Section 20115, that are not public projects as defined in PCC Section 22003(c).
