How Do I Join Puente?

• Complete and submit the Puente Student Interest sheet

• ​​Meet with the Puente Counselor for a Puente Informational Session:

  • Sessions to be announced.

• If you are not able to make any of the sessions above: ​​Contact the Puente Counselor at your home campus to express interest. Email:

  • Cynthia Vargas at the San Jacinto Campus at cvargas@msjc.edu

• After submitting your interest to the counselor they will review your eligibility -

  • You will then enroll in the following courses for Fall: ​​​English 101 + 94 as well as CSCR 100

  • In the Spring, you will enroll in the following courses: English 103

  • You will pay fees, the $6.00 public transportation fee that is NOT covered by financial aid.

  • You will then attend the first day of class. Failure to attend the first class meeting for both classes will result in being dropped from the classes and the program.
