FYE Bridge

Join us for FYE Bridge, a fun in-depth orientation to prepare incoming FYE students on college life.

Students are only required to attend one session on any of the selected dates. To participate in FYE Bridge, students will need to complete the Steps to Enroll by going to msjc.edu/fye/enroll.html then register for a session through their ConexED account, where students can expect to:

  • Meet your Pathways counselor
  • Learn how to register for classes
  • Discover college culture and campus resources
  • Receive financial aid information
  • Set up an MyMSJC account
  • Meet with Math faculty, Learning Resource Center, and Personalized Academic Learning Skills support
  • Get your questions answered and have fun!

Virtual sessions: Priority Registration Spring 2025 ONLY

  • Monday, July 22, from 1:00pm-3:00pm
  • Tuesday, July 23, from 1:00pm-3:00pm
  • Wednesday, July 24, from 1:00pm-3:00pm
  • Monday, July 29, from 1:00pm-3:00pm
  • Tuesday, July 30, from 1:00pm-3:00pm
  • Wednesday, July 31, from 1:00pm-3:00pm

 

*The cut-off day to obtain priority registration for Spring 2025 semester is July 31st, during the last Summer Bridge session. No in-person session are offered at this time.

Frequently Asked Questions about FYE Bridge

A: If you signed up for a virtual FYE Bridge session, you will need to bring a pencil, paper, and have access to login to the session via zoom application or internet browser. A zoom link will be sent to students once they register for a session.

If you signed up for an in-person FYE Bridge session, you will need to bring a pencil, paper, and show FYE staff the confirmation email for that particular day, time, and location as spaces are limited.

A: FYE Bridge is mandatory in order to receive early registration; as you will obtain tons of information to prepare you for your first year of college. As mentioned, FYE staff will assist you with the new student steps and registration.

A: Students will only need to attend one session, which will be two hour sessions hosted virtually or in-person. The dates listed above will allow you to choose whichever date will work best for your schedule.

A: To prepare for a virtual FYE Bridge, we recommend you access the zoom link in a quiet space and log in at least 5 minutes prior to the start of FYE Bridge.

If you are attending an in-person FYE Bridge, we recommend arriving 10 minutes prior to the start time to ensure all students get settled in by the start time.
