Bio:
My education has changed my life in the most rewarding ways. I have connected with the most amazing individuals and have been afforded novel career opportunities. I have been with the Department of Communication Studies at Mt. San Jacinto College, Menifee campus since 2008. I graduated from CSUSB with a Master’s in Communication Studies in 2008 and earned my Doctoral degree in 2021 from Capella University. My Dissertation focused on mentoring, which I enjoy when I am not in the classroom. Aside from teaching a variety of communication classes, my roles include serving as the Department Chair for Menifee Campus, Speech Tournament Director, Puente Mentor, and Faculty Mentor.
I take much pride in my family. I have been married since 1986 and have five children and four grandchildren. I love spending time with my mom and family, especially all of my brothers who have a great presence in my life. For fun, I love traveling with my husband, and I want to continue to travel to many places. I also enjoy eating at restaurants and hanging out with my friends and family. Lastly, I enjoy swimming at the beach during the day and taking long walks on the beach at night.
