Bio:
I grew up in the Hemet San Jacinto Valley and graduated from Hemet High School, where I got my first computer job. I then worked at the city of Hemet engineering department over the next two summers working on creating a database for blueprints. Starting my undergraduate education at the University of California, Riverside as a biomedical science major, I quickly learned that I liked computers more than biology. I ended up transferring to California State University, San Bernardino as a computer science major where I received a math and science scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in computer science. After graduating started an IT consulting company amongst a few other business adventures in the medical field. Then in 2007, I went back to get a master’s in computer science at California State University, Fullerton. As a graduate student, I started an internship at Paramount Pictures which turned into a full-time job. After driving a year on the 101 in LA I decided to take a job at Mt. San Jacinto College as the Distance Education Network Coordinator and a part-time teaching job at the college. I served as the Distance Education Network Coordinator for 9 years before I became a full-time faculty member at Mt. San Jacinto College. I'm grateful to have this opportunity to work at the college and grow with the Mt. San Jacinto community as a whole. I like to read books especially about psychology and physics. I love music!! I often to go live music events including music festivals. Camping and off road are my favorite out door hobbies.
